Savannah and her new Brother

Savannah has done surprisingly well with her new little bundle of joy. We were unsure of how she would handle a new little baby coming to the house and staying all the time. When Savannah first saw her new brother, Austin, she was a little hesitant and slow to react, but just a short time after she was fine and her motherly instincts kicked in. Here she is forcing Austin to take his pacifier.
Our first family photo of the four of us. Not the greatest picture, but hey we are adjusting.
Since coming home from the hospital, Savannah has been surpisingly great with the baby. She is very gentle and tries to help with everything. Here she is helping feeding Austin his bottle. She continues to come up with things on her own and continues to amaze us. Savannah's only fall back with bringing Austin home is that she wants to be carried a lot more, but if that is the worst of it then I can handle it (I think). We are still trying to adjust to our new lifestyle, but seem to be doing well. It is amazing how much you forget when they are little. Savannah loves holding her baby brother. You will hear her often say, "Isn't he adorable?"

I'm so glad to finally hear more about the baby! Sounds like Savannah has blossomed into a great big sister. Maybe she can give Andra some advice. :) Congrats on the new addition!! Hope he's letting you get some rest!
